Meet the Author
Tanguy Lesseliers, Ulixes Consulting
Tanguy has worked on electronic invoicing and UBL for 10+ years, filling the gaps he met along the way.
He began with personal interest projects, building the tools he needed to make UBL practical—this grew into UBLKIT.
Journey: plain HTML → early CMSs → CodeIgniter → Laravel (freedom from raw PHP!).
Shipped: vote4fun.eu, ublkit.be, ulixes-consulting.be. Upcoming: kot360.be and Laraged (a private genealogy app using GEDCOM + Laravel).

Technology & Approach
Laravel at the core, pragmatic choices around privacy and performance.
- Laravel stack with modern PHP, queue-driven jobs, and Blade for the UI.
- Storage via Scaleway object storage with signed URLs; data stays on European soil.
- Local and regional partners for hosting and integrations—no hyperscaler lock-in.
- Validation and conversion pipelines tuned for UBL, PDF, and hybrid documents.
- Offline-friendly paths (Pro & Desktop), plus a streamlined browser experience (Online).
Did you know?
- UBLKIT is built and hosted in Europe with local partners.
- Temporary files are cleaned regularly; privacy is a first-class concern.
- Signed URLs keep bucket assets private while remaining easy to use.
